  • 500 gram Chicken
  • 16 ounce Pie Crust
  • 1 cup Carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 cup Celery
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 3 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried Thyme
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion, celery, and carrots. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add cooked chicken and frozen peas to the skillet. Stir well.
  5. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with one crust. Pour the chicken mixture into the pie dish.
  6. Cover with the second pie crust and seal the edges. Cut slits on the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow the pot pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
