  • 500 gram Chicken breast
  • 100 gram All-purpose flour
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 150 gram White onion
  • 150 gram Carrots
  • 100 gram Frozen peas
  • 2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 sheet Puff pastry
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots, and peas. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly add the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  6. Add the chicken, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  8. Cover the dish with puff pastry.
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Let the pot pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
