  2. In a large bowl, combine the cherries, lemon juice, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, remaining sugar, oats, and cinnamon. Cut in the butter using a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pie crust.
  5. Pour the cherry mixture over the crumb crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture evenly over the cherries.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the cherries are bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 30 minutes.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
