  7. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter.
  9. Swirl the cherry pie filling into the cream cheese mixture.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
