Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use a pastry cutter or your hands to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the grated cheddar cheese.
  5. Gradually add the milk, stirring until the dough comes together.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until it is smooth.
  7. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch (1 cm).
  8. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
