  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 0.75 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Gradually add the milk, stirring until the dough comes together.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for a few seconds.
  7. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch (3 cm).
  8. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet.
