Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, milk, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the cheddar cheese and green onions. Spoon the batter into greased muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan. Enjoy!
