Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 tablespoon Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 slice Bacon
  • 2 tablespoon Chives
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash them.
  2. In a pan, sauté the chopped onion in butter until golden brown.
  3. Add the sautéed onion, sour cream, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour and water to make a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough and cut it into circles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the potato filling on each circle and fold it in half, sealing the edges.
  7. Boil the pierogi in salted water until they float to the surface.
  8. In a separate pan, fry the bacon until crispy.
  9. Serve the pierogi with fried bacon and chopped chives on top.
