  • 300 grams Sponge Cake
  • 200 milliliters Marsala Wine
  • 500 grams Ricotta Cheese
  • 100 grams Powdered Sugar
  • 150 grams Candied Fruit
  • 100 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 200 milliliters Whipped Cream
Instructions
  1. Cut the sponge cake into thin layers.
  2. Soak the layers in Marsala wine.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese and powdered sugar.
  4. Spread half of the ricotta mixture on the soaked cake layer.
  5. Add a layer of candied fruit.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for the second layer.
  7. Top with the final layer of soaked cake.
  8. Cover the cake with whipped cream.
  9. Decorate with grated dark chocolate.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
