Ingredients
  • 200 gram Carrots
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 200 gram Granulated sugar
  • 180 ml Vegetable oil
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 250 gram Cream cheese
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Powdered sugar
  • 100 gram Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, flour, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  7. Once the cake has cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
  8. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for garnish.
  9. Allow the cake to rest for 30 minutes before serving.
