  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cardamom, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Fold in the grated carrots.
