Peel and core the apples, then cut them into thin slices. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apples, cranberries, and 50 grams of granulated sugar. Cook until the apples are caramelized and the cranberries have burst, about 10 minutes. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the remaining granulated sugar until creamy. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until well combined.

Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Spread the caramelized apple-cranberry mixture evenly over the batter. Top with the remaining batter.
