Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, evaporated milk, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.

Pour the mixture into the pie crust.

Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for another 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set.

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for 2 hours.

In a small saucepan, heat the caramel sauce over low heat until warm.

Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cooled pie.

Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.
