Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and peppermint extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.

Divide the batter in half. Mix red food coloring into one half.

Pour the plain batter into the prepared cake pan. Spoon the red batter on top and swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with a few drops of water to create a glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
