  • 225 gram Butter
  • 300 gram Sugar
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 300 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter mixture alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just blended.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
