  • 2 large Eggs

  • 1.5 cup Blackberries
  • 0.5 cup Beaumes-de-Venise
  • 0.25 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the blackberries and Beaumes-de-Venise.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
