Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1.5 cup Chopped pecans
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Corn syrup
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and granulated sugar.
  3. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the crust.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, salt, corn syrup, brown sugar, and heavy cream.
  7. Pour the mixture over the pecans.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
