Ingredients
  • 10 ounce Pie crust
  • 3 cup Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 egg Egg wash (1 egg beaten with a tablespoon of water)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the pie with butter.
  6. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into strips.
  7. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie by weaving the strips.
  8. Brush the lattice crust with the egg wash.
  9. Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  10. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
