  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until the butter turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together the brown sugar and cooled brown butter until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
