In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.

Place the dough balls on a greased baking sheet. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise for 30 minutes.

Brush the dough balls with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
