Ingredients
  • 1 cup Bran flakes
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, combine the bran flakes, flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey, milk, and egg. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick round and cut into 8 wedges. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
