Ingredients
  • 2 cup Pie crust
  • 1 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 2 cup Fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 1 beaten Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cranberries, blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of unsalted butter.
  6. Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the filling. Trim and crimp the edges.
  7. Brush the top crust with beaten egg.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 2 hours before serving.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
