  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the blackberries, raspberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir until the berries are coated.
  3. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the berry mixture into the crust.
  4. Roll out the second pie crust and cut it into strips. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie.
  5. Brush the beaten egg over the lattice crust. Sprinkle turbinado sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
