Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoon Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Kahlua liqueur
  • 0.5 cup Strong brewed coffee
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vodka
  • 1 tablespoon Coffee liqueur
  • 4 ounces Dark chocolate
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with Kahlua and coffee. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, powdered sugar, vodka, and coffee liqueur until smooth.
  8. Spread the sour cream mixture over the cooled cake. Grate the dark chocolate over the top.
  9. Allow the cake to rest for at least 1 hour before serving.
