  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually blend the flour mixture into the banana mixture, stirring just until combined. Fold in the walnuts, raisins, dates, figs, apricots, and pineapple.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
