Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 1 cup Light corn syrup
  • 1 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cup Pecans, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cold unsalted butter, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, light corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  6. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
