Ingredients
  • 250 gram Beetroot
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 200 gram Sugar
  • 150 ml Vegetable oil
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 50 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and grate the beetroot.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the grated beetroot, flour, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
