  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper. Add the beef stew meat and toss until coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the coated beef stew meat and cook until browned. Remove the meat from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic cloves. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  5. Add the carrots, frozen peas, and potatoes to the skillet. Cook for a few minutes.
  6. Return the beef stew meat to the skillet. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  8. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and place it on top of the baking dish, covering the mixture completely. Cut slits in the pastry to allow steam to escape.
  9. In a small bowl, beat the egg. Brush the egg wash over the pastry.
