  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted, add the onions and garlic and cook until softened.
  3. Add the beef to the pan and cook until browned. Add the bell peppers and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the beef and vegetables and stir well to coat. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add the beef stock and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  6. Stir in the thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Transfer the beef mixture to a pie dish.
  8. Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the pie dish, trimming any excess pastry.
  9. Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the pastry.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  11. Allow the pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
