  2. In a large pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, cook the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  5. Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook until slightly tender.
  6. Return the beef and bacon to the pan. Add beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  7. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  8. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into circles to fit the pie tins.
  9. Fill each pie tin with the beef and bacon mixture.
  10. Cover with puff pastry circles and seal the edges.
  11. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
