BBQ Shepherd’s Pie
Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but this BBQ version uses ground beef for a twist on the classic recipe.
This is high protein and non vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 100 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrots, and ground beef. Cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are softened.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, beef stock, and BBQ sauce. Season with salt and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
