  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and lime zest. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish.
  2. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and water over low heat until warm. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the liquid and let it soften for 5 minutes. Stir the mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites and salt with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Slowly pour the gelatin mixture into the beaten egg whites while continuing to beat on low speed. Increase the speed to high and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  6. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  7. Pour the chiffon mixture into the cooled crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until set.
  8. Garnish with lime slices and zest curls before serving.
