Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Bananas
  • 200 gram White Chocolate
  • 2 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 50 gram White Chocolate Shavings
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate in the microwave or using a double boiler. Set aside to cool.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the mashed bananas and melted white chocolate to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  7. Alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the banana mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice to make the icing.
  12. Drizzle the icing over the cooled cake and sprinkle with white chocolate shavings.
  13. Serve and enjoy!
