  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  9. Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, dust the top of the cake with powdered sugar.
