  • 1.5 cup Ripe bananas
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Fold in the mashed bananas and chopped nuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice and serve.
