Ingredients
  • 500 gram Ground beef
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 medium-sized Carrot
  • 2 medium-sized Potato
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 sheet Puff pastry
  • 1 beaten Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and potato to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the frozen peas, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, flour, butter, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  5. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and line a pie dish with it. Pour the meat mixture into the dish.
  6. Cover the dish with the second sheet of puff pastry. Trim and seal the edges. Cut a few slits on the top to allow steam to escape.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Allow the pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
