  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a Bundt cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and Bacardi rum.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  6. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by melting the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  10. Stir in the sugar, Bacardi rum, and water until the sugar is dissolved.
  11. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  12. Use a skewer to poke holes all over the cake, then pour the glaze over the warm cake.
  13. Allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan.
