  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 0.75 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Boiling Water
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the boiling water to the batter, mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once cooled, frost the cakes with your desired frosting.
