Ingredients
  • 12 ounce Pie crust
  • 1 pound Asparagus
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. Trim the ends of the asparagus and blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Arrange the blanched asparagus on top of the pie crust.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the asparagus.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Allow the pie to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
