  • 2 cup Apples
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Peel and slice the apples, then fold them into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared skillet and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the skillet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
