Ingredients
  • 300 gram Apples
  • 200 gram Ricotta cheese
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 150 gram Sugar
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 30 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Gently fold in the sliced apples.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
