Ingredients
  • 12 ounce Pie crust
  • 4 cup Apples
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the apple mixture with small pieces of butter.
  6. Place the second pie crust on top and seal the edges.
  7. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  8. Bake the pie for 40-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  9. Let the pie cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
