  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the peanut butter, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Fold in the chopped apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
