  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped apples, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice and serve.
