Ingredients
  • 500 gram Apples
  • 200 gram Black cherries
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 150 gram Sugar
  • 150 gram Butter
  • 3 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and core the apples, then slice them into thin wedges.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  6. Grease a cake pan and pour half of the batter into it.
  7. Arrange the apple slices and black cherries on top of the batter.
  8. Pour the remaining batter over the fruit.
  9. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
