Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup White chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup Whole milk
  • 3 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice and powdered sugar until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
