  • 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
