In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter and white sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Meanwhile, prepare the yema frosting. In a saucepan, combine the condensed milk, egg yolks, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
