Almond Tea Cakes
Tea cakes have been enjoyed with afternoon tea for centuries and are a popular treat in many cultures around the world.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and almond extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cake comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer the cakes to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
