Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and almond extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
